Mitchells is opening its second fish market in a week.
The market is located in the heart of the market district, about 15 minutes from downtown Houston.
The fish market is selling more than 100 types of fish, including tilapia, crab, shrimp, salmon, crawfish and tuna.
The store has been around for more than a decade, opening in 2012.
Its owner, Gary Mitchell, says it’s about the same as the first fish market he opened in 2009.
The second market will be located on the corner of North Loop and Highway 281, just west of the former Memorial Stadium site.
The first fish-market opened in 2016 and Mitchells expects to have about 500 fish per day.
